Job Role: Mechanical Equipment Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our team at Verto People. As a Mechanical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of compressed air equipment and related systems at customer sites across Sussex and Kent.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair compressed air equipment and related systems. Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air equipment. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment. Commute to the office near Crawley occasionally for parts collection and training. Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Equipment Technician or similar role. Strong understanding of compressed air systems and equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Technical engineering degree / qualification or equivalent experience.

Working Conditions:
Must be willing to travel and commute to customer sites across Sussex and Kent. Occasional overnight stays may be required.
