About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Manager to join our team at Hearst UK. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our SEO strategy across all brand websites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the SEO Director in planning and implementing SEO strategies to drive traffic and revenue.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to enhance their SEO skills.
  • Develop and implement international SEO strategies to expand our online presence.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological and behavioral changes in buying patterns and their impact on search.
  • Optimize content to drive affiliate revenue and improve search engine rankings.
  • Work closely with the commercial, affiliate, and central affiliate editors to develop strategies around tentpole events.
  • Update content, meta titles, and descriptions in our CMS, and optimize internal linking and aggregated content pages.
  • Interrogate monthly reports and communicate wins and learnings to inform further strategy decisions.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, test new product features, and ensure we are always playing nicely with algorithm updates.
About You
  • Proven hands-on SEO experience.
  • Commercial mindset and experience working in an affiliate-focused business.
  • Knowledge of on-page ranking factors, extensive keyword research experience, and understanding of seasonal keyword changes.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
  • Passion for staying current on SEO and experience with Google Search Console, enterprise-level CMS, and Google Analytics.
