We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the General Manager - Financial Reporting & Planning, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of statutory financial reports, providing technical accounting assistance, and driving the optimisation of financial reporting processes, policies, controls, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the general ledger and relevant month-end reconciliations to ensure compliance with company accounting policies and accounting standard requirements.

• Prepare consolidations, half-year, and year-end financial reporting in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.

• Provide technical accounting support in a wide range of circumstances, including complex accounting matters.

• Implement enhanced financial internal controls, business policies, and processes to support an accurate and efficient financial reporting function.

Requirements

• 5+ years' financial accounting experience.

• Big 4/mid-tier audit experience.

• Degree in Accounting / Commerce / Business.

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
