About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 2nd line IT and Network Support to our internal end-users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for Active Directory, Office 365, MS Azure, and Windows Servers
  • Support a VOIP softphone system and EndPoint deployment and vulnerability management software
  • Work with a ticket system to resolve technical issues and build workstations as required
  • Be the primary IT contact for a newer office in Bristol, providing remote support and occasional visits
  • Perform administrative functions within Active Directory, including account creation and deletion
  • Install and configure hardware, firewall, switches, and servers
  • Ensure compliance and security are met, adhering to ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials standards
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an IT Support role
  • Experience of 2nd Line and 1st line IT Support
  • Experience of Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Servers, and MS Azure
  • Strong problem-solving and technical fixing skills
  • Fantastic communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work with people at all levels
What We Offer

We offer a busy and varied role with hybrid working arrangements, including two days in the office and three days working from home per week. A car driver is essential for this role, as occasional visits to other offices will be required.
