Our client, a prominent player in the global food industry, seeks a Production Specialist to oversee maintenance operations at their Burton-on-Trent facility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of machinery, equipment, and services in food production, while also implementing maintenance strategies to maintain optimal performance.

  • Senior maintenance role offering extensive growth opportunities
  • Variety of shifts, including nights (10pm to 6am)
  • Competitive salary package: £49k + £2/hour night shift allowance (£53,160)
  • Generous holiday entitlement (33 days incl. bank holidays)
  • Pension contributions (5%) and employee benefits programme
Job Requirements:
  1. Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of mechanical and electrical systems, including quality control checks
  2. Quickly address equipment failures and perform efficient repairs
  3. Design and implement process enhancements aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing downtime, and optimising resource allocation
  4. Guarantee adherence to rigorous health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the facility
  5. Compliance with established operational policies and procedures
  6. Accurate record-keeping of maintenance activities and projects
  7. Drive a culture of excellence in food safety and quality to prevent potential issues
