Learning and Development Manager

We are a mission-critical infrastructure solutions business, offering services in Laundry, Catering, Heating, Fire Safety, Infection Control, and Air Conditioning. Our end-to-end service proposition, Total Care, provides on-premise machine supply and breakdown services.
Job OverviewYou will be responsible for the learning pathways of our Sales organisation, reporting to the Sales Director. Your goal is to educate and develop both field sales and inside sales employees using traditional classroom, virtual, and online training methods.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deliver, assess, and evaluate all training and development activities for our sales staff.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill and knowledge gaps within our diverse organisation.
- Work closely with the sales leadership team to identify training needs and create annual plans for Learning & Development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records for all training and build a core competency skills matrix for each role within the sales function.
- Provide coaching for Sales Managers in the ongoing development of their teams.
- Knowledge of e-learning initiatives would be highly advantageous.
- Understanding of the dynamic relationship between sales and marketing.
- Confident in all elements of the training cycle.
- Organised, creative, and a strong team player with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
- Experience of a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Highly experienced in the design and delivery of selling skills training programs across a culturally and geographically diverse organisation.
- Action-oriented, down-to-earth, energetic, pragmatic, collaborative, and willing to 'roll up your sleeves' when required.
We offer a competitive salary (£45,000 - £60,000 per annum) depending on experience, along with a range of benefits that support your professional growth and well-being.
