Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting and Operations professional to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily cash flows, including bank transfers, invoice financing, and exchange rates
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in the preparation of the monthly cash flow forecast
- Produce weekly financial KPI reports and sales commission calculations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end accounts
- Maintain the fixed assets register and perform monthly petty cash and credit card reconciliations
- Update financial systems and design and prepare standard and ad hoc management reports
- Provide holiday cover for purchase ledger and credit control tasks
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in finance, with strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and exposure to accounting software. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with the finance team and other departments.
