As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing a hygiene team across the entire site, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily hygiene functions and develop a strong team work ethic to maintain a high level of cleanliness and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to prepare training cards and risk assessments for various hygienic maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure that the factory meets the highest standards of health and safety, as outlined in the company's SHE policy.
  • Receive and incorporate relevant COSHH data into schedules as necessary.
  • Maintain factory GMP standards while ensuring the factory remains clean, tidy, and audit-ready.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in hygiene management roles, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • COSHH certification is essential, as well as excellent health and safety awareness.
  • Listeria awareness is also essential, and experience with HACCP, Food Safety, and IOSH is highly desirable.

  • A competitive salary of circa £50,000.
  • A generous holiday package, including 33 days off per year.
  • A 5-day working week, with flexible hours (12pm – 8pm).
