Role Summary

The Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Home, ensuring high-quality care through a motivated team of staff. This role offers a unique blend of leadership, management, and clinical expertise, as you'll be part-supernumerary while maintaining regulatory compliance.

About You

To succeed in this position, you'll need NMC registration and some experience in leadership or management. Key skills include:

  • A strong clinical foundation to manage a team, providing training and support for interventions like PEG feeding, oral suction, bi-pap, C-Pap, cough assist, epilepsy management, and medication administration.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to foster a positive team environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Proficiency in using technology for record-keeping and data management.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations, inspections, and compliance.
