Job Description

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) products. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop cost-effective designs for GSE products, utilizing the best materials and technologies available.
  • Collaborate with our production team to ensure seamless integration of designs into our manufacturing process.
  • Conduct research and analysis to improve the performance and efficiency of our existing products.
  • Produce high-quality design drawings, models, and technical documentation.
  • Source and select materials for product design, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Implement structural and strength calculations to assess tolerance and stress analysis of mechanical components.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and procurement specifications.
Requirements
  • Higher Education Degree level qualification in an engineering or technical discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a design engineer in a metal fabrication environment.
  • Experience with design software, such as AutoCad and Solidworks.
  • Excellent technical drawing skills and computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
