Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in design and development of mechanical systems. You will be responsible for creating detailed designs, prototypes, and testing procedures to ensure the highest quality products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including vehicles, crushers, screeners, and trailers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and company standards
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including technical specifications and design reports
  • Conduct research and analysis to improve existing designs and develop new products
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production
  • Ensure all designs comply with ISO 9001 procedures and company health and safety policies
Requirements
  • Higher Education Degree level qualification in an engineering or technical discipline
  • At least 3 years' experience as a design engineer within a metal fabrication environment
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCad, Solidworks
  • Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
