Job Title: Ward Sister/Charge Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and managerial leadership to our nursing and multi-professional team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine, with experience in paediatric or adult emergency care. You will be a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing and multi-professional team
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with the clinical nurse manager and multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
  • Conduct regular audits of clinical standards of care
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members to ensure effective role modelling and mentorship

Working Pattern:

We are offering 3 fixed-term positions and 1 substantive position, with various shifts including long days, night shifts, twilights, early, and late shifts.
