Key Responsibilities:- Support service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey, providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning.
- Undertake co-location partnership work to engage service users and offer assertive follow-up to increase retention.
- Establish links with partner agencies to attract treatment-naive service users into treatment.
- Provide flexible assertive outreach support to engage service users into treatment across the Birmingham locality.
- Identify barriers to treatment and work with partners to create and deliver solutions.
- Support social reintegration, enabling service users to lead meaningful and purposeful lives.
- Research and prepare subject matter for groups/pods, delivering structured content in group settings.
- Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators, reviewing progress and identifying concerns.
- Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working within a similar field.
- Experience working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
- Excellent communication and IT skills, with good time management and prioritizing skills.
- Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice.
- Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in partnership with various professionals and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage change successfully, prioritizing the needs of service users.
- Commitment to information governance processes and safeguarding.
