Job Title: Test Instrumentation Specialist

Job Summary:

Leonardo Helicopters is seeking a skilled Test Instrumentation Specialist to join our Structural Test Laboratory team in Yeovil. As a key member of our team, you will provide electrical and electronic support to ensure the successful execution of structural tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical and electronic support to the structural test laboratory
  • Manage the electrical design of test rigs, including cable installations
  • Develop and support instrumentation activities within the department
  • Support the design and development of strain gauge specifications
  • Maintain electrical equipment specific to the structural test department

Requirements:

  • Degree in electrical or electronic engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in test instrumentation, including definition, installation, and calibration
  • Understanding of strain gauges and their application
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and design electrical circuits
  • Knowledge of computer-based design tools and programming languages
