About the Role

We are looking for a determined problem-solver who can approach troubleshooting logically and possess the flexibility to travel extensively. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering essential service plans to our customers and their sites, addressing various technical faults, and executing planned maintenance for our products.

You will work closely with our Service Manager and be an integral part of a national Field Service Engineering Team, providing swift and effective solutions to customer issues. Your technical expertise and knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems will be essential in identifying faults, conducting repairs, testing, and modifying actuators in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality service plans to customers and their sites
  • Address technical faults and execute planned maintenance for our products
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and national Field Service Engineering Team
  • Identify faults, conduct repairs, test, and modify actuators in the field
  • Handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, along with associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems or related equipment
  • Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical, and fluid power theories
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools
  • Experience of working in a practical engineering environment
  • Full Valid Driving License
