About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a determined problem-solver to join our national Field Service Engineering Team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering essential service plans to our customers, addressing technical faults, and executing planned maintenance for our products.

You will work closely with our Service Manager and be an integral part of a team that provides swift and effective solutions to customer issues. Your technical expertise and ability to troubleshoot logically will be essential in identifying faults, conducting repairs, testing, and modifying actuators in the field.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, along with associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts.
  • Identifying and resolving technical faults in a logical and methodical manner.
  • Collaborating with the Service Manager to develop and implement effective service plans.
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems or related equipment.
  • A good understanding of basic electronics, electrical, and fluid power theories.
  • The ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and utilize common test and calibration tools.
  • Experience of working in a practical engineering environment.
  • A full valid driving license.
