Job Title: Digital Transformation Specialist - EHR Data Migration

About the Role:

LONDON BRIDGE HOSPITAL is seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare by driving digital transformation initiatives.

About the Job:

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our QA/Testing team to ensure seamless quality and compliance for all aspects of LIMS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend data migration requirements and objectives, developing and executing strategies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data.

You will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from legacy systems into the target LIMS platform, performing data cleansing, normalisation, and validation to identify and resolve data quality issues. Your task will also include creating documentation, including data mapping documents, migration plans, and validation protocols.

You will conduct testing and validation of migrated data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Additionally, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during the migration process, collaborating with IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and optimise performance of the LIMS platform.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with QA/Testing team to manage quality and compliance for all aspects of LIMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend data migration requirements and objectives.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Digital pathology experience within histology and cytology.
  • A detailed and comprehensive understanding of blood bank laboratory and process workflows.
  • Experience in healthcare technologies (e.g., LIMS, LIS, Digital Pathology, MEDITECH).
  • An understanding and management of HL7 interfaces.
  • Experience planning and implementing organisational systems integrations.

What We Offer:

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £60,000 per annum, plus benefits such as 25 days holiday each year, private healthcare insurance, private pension contribution, season ticket loan, and cycle to work scheme.
