Special Education Needs Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Needs Assistant to join our vibrant educational community in Watford. As a Teaching Assistant for SEN students, you will work closely with experienced SENCOs and teachers to provide tailored support and ensure that students with SEN reach their full potential.
- Support students with SEN in one-on-one and small group settings, using adapted teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles.
- Assist classroom teachers in developing and implementing education plans and strategies tailored to each student's needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student confidence, self-esteem, and academic success.
- Collaborate with SENCOs and other staff members to design and implement individualised learning plans and interventions.
- Contribute to the implementation of sensory integration techniques and other therapies as required.
- £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
