Business Development and Partnerships Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development and Partnerships Manager to join our team at Bassetlaw Community and Voluntary Service. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities, building and maintaining partnerships, and leading projects to deliver our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop business opportunities to support income streams and deliver our strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with statutory, voluntary, business, faith, and community organisations, as well as key private sector organisations.
  • Lead projects and programmes of work to deliver our contract outputs and support the growth and development of our team.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Represent Bassetlaw Community and Voluntary Service at key strategic and partnership meetings, and provide leadership and guidance to our team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business development and partnerships, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of the voluntary and community sector, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our sector.
