About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion service as a Band 6 Practitioner. The successful candidate will work within the heart of the criminal justice system, supporting individuals with mental health concerns and unmet social needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake holistic assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop risk plans
- Liaise with statutory and voluntary services to meet unmet needs and reduce reoffending
- Work collaboratively with police, probation, and other key stakeholders
- Provide high-quality care and service provision
Person Specification
- Current professional registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Registered Learning Disability Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker
- Experience of working in mental health as a qualified professional
- Proven ability to work autonomously and make decisions around patient care
- Ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary services
