Community Safety Officer

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated individual to join our School Crossing Patrol Service as a Community Safety Officer. This role involves ensuring the safety of children on their way to and from school, working closely with the local community to promote road safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out school crossing patrol duties during term time, typically an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon.
- Work collaboratively with local residents, schools, and other stakeholders to promote road safety and awareness.
- Provide a visible presence on the roads, ensuring the safety of children and other pedestrians.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in traffic safety and community engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Responsibility and a commitment to ensuring the safety of children and other pedestrians.
- Traffic awareness and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Basic IT skills and the ability to use technology to support your work.
