Job Description
- To provide leadership and management of special educational needs provision.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed.
- To develop and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes.
- To contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to special educational needs.
About the Successful Candidate
- You should be a qualified SENCO with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a UK classroom.
- You should have a National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) qualification.
- You should have knowledge of SEN policies relevant to the role of a SENCO.
- You should have a passion for inclusion and making a difference in the lives of young people as a SENCO.
- You should have strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills suitable for a SENCO.
- You should have a commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for all children, championed by our SENCO.
- You should be qualified with Teacher Status (QTS).
Earning Potential
Based on national averages, this role offers an estimated salary range of £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
