Medical Support Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team at Seaford Medical Practice.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinicians in delivering excellent care to our patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing wound care to patients, including identifying and escalating wound infections as necessary.
- Appointing patients into clinics and taking baseline measurements.
- Maintaining accurate records of refrigerator temperatures and cleaning schedules.
- Acting as a patient chaperone as required.
- Conducting in-house urine testing and documenting results on EMIS.
- Performing ECGs and escalating any issues to the nurse team leader or practice manager.
Requirements
- Wound care knowledge and experience.
- Healthcare Assistant qualification or relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
