About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Manor House School, a specialist education provider for children with social, emotional, and mental health needs. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and support to our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Senior Management Team, carry out the professional duties of a school teacher as set out in our current School policies.
  • Uphold the professional code of conduct and teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation, and policies of the school.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our school's curriculum and policies.
Requirements
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEMH (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work effectively with children with complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and support to our pupils
