We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will deliver engaging and inclusive educational programs that support learners with varying levels of needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of learners with SEND.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Work closely with the Skills for Work and Living team to ensure a collaborative approach to learning.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Experience working with learners with SEND in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEND frameworks, strategies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and supportive approach to teaching.
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours, depending on your availability.
