Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Night Care Support Leader to join our team at one of our children's homes in Minchinhampton, Stroud - Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children with learning disabilities, while also demonstrating leadership skills and a commitment to safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of carers to provide exceptional care and support to children with learning disabilities
- Manage rotas and ensure high levels of care are maintained
- Participate in appraisals and staff training
- Demonstrate sound safeguarding knowledge and practice
Requirements:
- Experience of working with vulnerable children in a residential setting
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Sound safeguarding knowledge and practice
- Leadership skills and a patient, empathetic disposition
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
