Job Title: Senior Children's Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Children's Home Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small, specialized residential care home providing 24/7 support to young people with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of caregivers to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including incident reports and medication administration records.
  • Coordinating regular meetings with staff, residents, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential childcare setting.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.

Salary: £49,400 - £35 per hour (dependent on experience) + £700 on-call allowance
