About the Role:

The People Ninjas Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of SEN to join their dynamic team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to support the development of our students with diverse and challenging needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEN, ensuring they receive the best possible education and care.
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality education and training programs.
  • Collaborate with parents, community organizations, and stakeholders to support students and promote positive relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in SEN education.

Requirements:

  • Hold a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) and National Award for SEN Co-ordination / NPQ for SENCOs.
  • Degree or equivalent and NPQSL and/or NPQH (desirable).
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with parents, community organizations, and stakeholders to support students with diverse and challenging needs.
  • Knowledge of equality of opportunity, safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion issues.
