Job Title: Secondary English Teacher

Job Description:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our team at a renowned client school in London. As an integral member of the English department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in English language and literature, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and essential skills among our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and share best practices.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.

Requirements:

  • Teaching certification or qualification (PGCE, QTS) for secondary school.
  • Prior experience teaching English to secondary school students.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • DBS on Updated Service.
