Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Description:

We are collaborating with a college in Scunthorpe to find a candidate who wants to contribute to students' learning development.

The position involves mentoring students with different abilities and helping them progress in school, considering their individual learning needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mentor students with a range of abilities and help them progress in school
  • Assist with planning and preparing activities
  • Implement interventions to help students with literacy and numeracy skills
  • Monitor progress and plan strategies to encourage learning development

During your placement, Tradewind Recruitment will support you with CPD training through the National College, opportunities tailored to your skill set, and your own personal consultant to address any needs during the placement.

To apply for this role, you must have:

  • A child-only enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to undertake one
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience working with young learners (Secondary desirable)

The rate for this position is £83.33-£90 per day.
