About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mental health support worker to join our team in Southampton. As a specialist in complex mental health needs, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to an individual with complex learning difficulties and mental health support needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to an individual with complex mental health needs, including complex learning difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualised support plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the individual, their family, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to the individual, promoting their mental health and well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Social Care or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in mental health support, including complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the individual.
