Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our team at Aggreko, LLC.

This is a depot-based role located in Swindon, where you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment, performing major repairs, and ensuring that equipment is prepared and made ready for hire or transfer on time.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing and maintenance of water & fluid chillers, air handlers, pumps, and air conditioning units.
  • Performing major equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and fault diagnostics.
  • Ensuring equipment meets business contract requirements and striving for continuous improvement in service delivery and quality.
  • Carrying out routine servicing of test plant in the depot and liaising with suppliers and internal teams to maintain stock levels.
  • Complying with company QHSE procedures and maintaining awareness of all regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Technical capability and City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Refrigerant Handling (F Gas) CITB Brazing certification.
  • Good PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications.
  • Able to manage client expectations under pressure.
