Take on a challenging role as a Financial Reporting Lead with a leading global FTSE100 financial services business. Based in the City of London, this position offers a competitive salary of £160,000 - £200,000, including a 50% bonus and comprehensive pension package.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a substantial team delivering key financial and regulatory reporting, ESG/Climate reporting, and future climate initiative development. You will manage a large team of 40+ members across multiple locations, with 4 department heads reporting directly to you. Regular interactions with Exec/Board/NED stakeholders, Audit Committees, and Investor Relations are also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of consolidated financial (IFRS) and regulatory reporting (Solvency II), ensuring consistency between figures and Annual Report messages.
  • Produce the Group's ESG non-financial reporting, including Climate, Nature, and Social Impact reports. Oversee the development and implementation of new ISSB reporting requirements.
  • Oversight of the Group Finance Risk Committee, managing operational risk across Group Finance, and owning the Financial Control Framework.
  • Frequent interaction with Group/divisional CFOs/ExCo stakeholders internally and external audit relationship management.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations for external results announcements and subsequent queries.
  • Challenge Finance processes and systems, exploring potential improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders, building upon strong existing working relationships.
  • Evaluate and ensure appropriate Finance MI, process, and systems support the business.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large multi-site team of 40+ members.
