Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Griffith Foods. As an HR Advisor, you will provide a first-class, business-focused operational HR service in all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This includes providing practical and effective employee relations advice, managing employee queries, and communicating outcomes clearly and articulately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide employee relations advice and support to people managers and colleagues.
- Manage employee queries and communicate outcomes clearly and articulately.
- Work with managers to find resolutions to complex cases and coach them to upskill and gain confidence in dealing with complex processes.
- Manage the recruitment process, including advertising roles internally and externally, and organizing and managing temporary to permanent recruitment.
- Support with training and development, including promoting the use of learning solutions and working with the UK HR team on employee development plans.
- Manage payroll, including checking and cross-referencing timesheets with absence and return to work forms, and checking overtime approvals.
- Provide reception cover on an ad-hoc basis and communicate with and support the HR Business Partner to ensure employee relations policies and procedures are fairly and proportionately applied.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Maths and English GCSE or O'Level.
- Desirable: Further education, CIPD qualification or other HR training.
- Experience in HR as an officer or advisor.
- Strong team player with values such as integrity, honesty, and respect, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.
- Excellent written English and good communication skills.
