UK Civil Engineering Apprenticeship Programme

Mott MacDonald offers a range of apprenticeships across various sectors, including civil engineering. This programme provides a unique opportunity to learn and gain valuable on-the-job experience while completing classroom-based learning either in person or virtually with a college, university, or training provider.

As a civil engineering apprentice, your duties will include participating in ground investigations, designing and analyzing foundations, and preparing engineering reports. You will also have the opportunity to network and meet other apprentices and graduates through our structured soft-skills development programme.

Your salary for this apprenticeship is expected to be around £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. In return, you can expect a competitive package, including opportunities for career progression and professional development.

To join us for this apprenticeship, you must meet the eligibility requirements of the relevant training provider. These are:

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above including English and Maths.

We are looking for students with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong academic record.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will have access to our agile working policies, which allow you to choose how you can work most effectively to meet client, team, and personal commitments.
