Learning Support Assistant NG13

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with children with autism and SEMH, providing individualized support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver small academic interventions to children working below age expected levels
- Work on a 1:1 basis with children, providing emotional support and helping them engage with lessons
- Liaise with senior leadership to monitor progress and develop strategies for improvement
About the School
Our school is a unique and supportive environment, located on a working farm with a strong focus on animal therapy. Our brand new building offers excellent sports facilities, and we provide up to 5 wellbeing days per year for our staff to take at their convenience. Our senior leadership team has over 15 years of experience and is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all staff and students.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience of working with children with SEN
- A graduate or relevant childcare qualification
- Excellent relationship building skills and a resilient attitude
- Excellent behaviour management and reliability
