About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dietetic Project Support Worker. The successful candidate will work closely with our Public Health Dietitians to deliver community-based nutrition interventions and practical food-based sessions across Flying Start areas in Cardiff.

Main Responsibilities

The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of nutrition interventions, working with young children, their families, and a wide range of teams and professionals. This will include working on initiatives such as Get Cooking, the Gold Standard Healthy Snack Award, Little Cooks, and Nutrition Skills for Life courses for families and staff.

Requirements

  • Good general education
  • Experience of working with people, particularly young children and families
  • Good written communication skills
  • Knowledge of a healthy balanced diet
