About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dietetic Project Support Worker. This exciting opportunity will involve working across Flying Start areas in Cardiff to support the delivery of community-based nutrition interventions and practical food-based sessions.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with young children, their families, and a wide range of teams and professionals under the supervision of Flying Start Dietitians. Key responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of nutrition interventions, working with community groups, and contributing to the development of new initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, a good understanding of healthy eating, and experience of working with groups. A nutrition qualification or working towards one is desirable. You will also need to be able to travel around Cardiff and have a good understanding of public health practice.
