Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, land owners, and other developers.
- Conduct land appraisals and produce assessments of development potential.
- Negotiate and prepare offers to pursue land opportunities within budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain knowledge of technical and health and safety aspects of land acquisition and development.
- Ensure effective working relationships between Land and other internal departments.
- Maintain and manage the land register/portfolio.
- Liaise with Planning and external consultants for successful delivery of applications and decisions.
- Experience as a Land Buyer, Land Manager, or in a property-related role.
- Successful experience in land acquisition, ideally within the housebuilding industry.
