Job Description

The role of Financial Controller is a critical position within our client's organization, requiring a seasoned professional with expertise in financial management. As the FC, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day control of the accounting lifecycle, including the production of management and statutory accounts, supervision of transactional accounting controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports to support business decision-making.
  • Financial accounting to ensure statutory compliance and assist with annual audit.
  • Supervision of company ledgers to maintain accurate financial records.
  • VAT reporting and posting to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Cash and BACS management to optimize financial liquidity.
  • Reporting and analysis to provide insights for strategic growth.
  • Budgeting to align financial resources with business objectives.
  • Payroll administration to ensure timely payment of employees.

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and down-to-earth Financial Controller with a proven track record of success. While professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) are not essential, you will need a solid background in supervising staff, preparing financial and management reports, and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and budgetary controls.
