Executive Category Buyer

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is looking for a highly skilled Category Executive to join its Commissioning Team. As a key member of the team, you will lead, direct, and coordinate sourcing activity and ensure effective contract and supplier relationship management to maximise value for money and deliver targeted savings within the assigned category/sub-categories.

The role involves managing contracts and suppliers to achieve best value, developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, policies, and contract procedure rules.

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of procurement regulations, policies, and contract procedure rules
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
