About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team at Aspris Childrens Services Limited. As a Sensory Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our young people with Autism and severe learning disabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include performing assessments, monitoring progress, conducting observations, and providing sensory recommendations. You will also work closely with our staff to develop their skills and knowledge in delivering therapeutic interventions.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in occupational therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing assessments to establish the needs of our young people
  • Monitoring progress and conducting observations
  • Providing sensory recommendations and carrying out direct therapeutic work
  • Working with up to 60 young people who have autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with young people with Autism and severe learning disabilities
  • Strong background in occupational therapy
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
