SEN Teacher Position in Mixed Age Primary Setting

We are recruiting for a dedicated primary SEN teacher to work in a mixed age KS1 and KS2 setting in Brentford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of our students.

The role highlights include:
- Full-time permanent teaching position in a respected SEN school prioritizing inclusive and individualized education for students with additional needs.
- Design and deliver adaptive lessons tailored to accommodate the mixed-age group of KS1 and KS2 students, encouraging growth and confidence in their learning journey.
- Collaborate with SEN specialists and support staff to develop and implement effective personalized learning strategies that cater to the specific needs and strengths of each student.
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment where students feel encouraged, supported, and empowered to engage with the learning material at their own pace.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in school-led SEN training, refining your skills and expanding your knowledge to better support students with diverse learning needs.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in primary education and a background in SEN or inclusive education.
- An adaptable and creative teaching approach that encourages flexibility in lesson design and delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective working with support staff and families.
- A patient and empathetic demeanor, fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere that respects each student's unique journey and celebrates their achievements.
- An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
