About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at BMS Performance. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of automotive equipment to our established customer base of automotive motor factors and distributors across the northwest of England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell automotive equipment, with a focus on battery charging and welding machines, to our customers in the northwest of England.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with our sales team to promote and sell our products over competitor brands.
  • Conduct regular site visits to our customers to provide technical support and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and market trends.
Requirements
  • Proven field sales experience, selling to trade distribution channels, such as builders merchants and electric wholesalers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong product knowledge and understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and sales performance.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel extensively throughout the northwest of England.
What We Offer
  • A competitive base salary of £38,000 - £40,000, plus an uncapped monthly commission of £8,000 - £12,000.
  • A Tesla Y company car and £1,000 towards home car charging point installation.
  • A 5% company pension contribution and healthcare cash plan.
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
