Our esteemed institution, the Wayman Learning Trust, is seeking a skilled and passionate Food Technology educator to join our dynamic faculty in Richmond. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.
About the Role:
- We are looking for an exceptional individual who can design and deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of mathematics, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core mathematical concepts, analytical skills, and practical applications.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Food Technology department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Food Technology and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
