We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Lead in Imaging to join our team at the NHS.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement scientific strategies to improve the safety and quality of diagnostic imaging services.
- Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality scientific and technical services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all staff, patients, and visitors are protected from radiation risks.
This role requires a strong understanding of radiation physics, diagnostic imaging, and clinical safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all staff, patients, and visitors are protected from radiation risks.
Requirements- Extensive post-registration clinical experience in radiation physics.
- Considerable and broad-ranging experience acting as a Medical Physics Expert in diagnostic radiology physics.
- Experience in managing a section/team within a scientific/clinical environment.
- Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of radiation dosimetry, diagnostic unit technology, radiation protection technology, quality assurance, and computer systems in radiation physics.
£74,290 to £85,601 per annum pro rata.
