About the Role

Agilent is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead the development of innovative Raman spectroscopy solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating technical project teams, managing project execution, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project leadership and support to New Product Development and Product Revision programs.
  • Build out development project plans according to the Agilent Product Lifecycle, including investigation, prototyping, implementation, and collaboration with the manufacturing arm.
  • Synthesize timelines and budgets with inputs from the team, decide on the number of prototypes, and their expected use between groups during the development project.
  • Build out and maintain detailed risk registers with mitigation approaches.
  • Run regular Cross Functional Team meetings, technical reviews, and follow up with team members to drive progress.
  • Maintain project documentation with appropriate approvals throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience in R&D or NPI project management and/or individual technical contribution.
  • Experience with Project Lifecycle Management and hardware or embedded software development.
  • Background in scientific instrument design and manufacture, specifically Raman spectroscopy, is a plus.
  • People management experience is desirable but not required.
