Collections Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the British Museum's Estates and Capital Projects team as a Control of Works and Access Coordinator. The postholder will work in a team of two, ensuring that working activities are safely planned, controlled, and coordinated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake daily monitoring of contractor working and project management processes on site, undertaking spot checks and safety audits.
- Support the induction of contractors to the site where required.
- Carry out training for project managers/internal stakeholders in relation to Museum procedures.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety and construction management procedures. Prior experience working in contractor coordination or construction would be beneficial. The postholder must be proficient in using MS Office programmes, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
