Engine Electronic Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Engine Electronic Systems Engineer to join our team in Peterborough. As a key member of our Electronics team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of electrical and electronic control systems for powertrains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the definition of system architecture and related diagrams and schematics.
  • Contribute to the selection of suitable electronic components.
  • Perform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and validation activities for electronic systems and components.
  • Provide technical support for queries related to pinouts, schematic questions, and software functionality.
  • Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot reported quality issues.
Requirements:
  • Electronics-related degree or HNC level with detailed experience.
  • Detailed understanding of electronic engine systems.
  • Electronic systems knowledge, including methodical fault-finding and validation capability.
  • Electronic systems design, including requirements, documentation, and FMEA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other tools, including CANape & CANalyzer.

This is a hybrid contract role with a competitive hourly rate of £36.00. If you have the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply.
