About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in mechanical contracting and project management. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, on-time delivery, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage mechanical contracts, including elements of plumbing, heating, and renewables, with minor involvement in electrical works.
  • Oversight of projects from design and specification through to installation and maintenance, ensuring all work meets client specifications.
  • Collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Preparation of pricing documents and management of financial planning, utilizing Microsoft Excel for cost control.
  • Regular site visits to monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on project status and performance.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong mechanical background, preferably with experience in mechanical contracting and project management.
  • Some familiarity with electrical works, with the ability to manage projects involving minor electrical tasks.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for budgeting, pricing, and project management.
  • Commercial awareness, with experience in cost control and contract management.
